Alex stood around with two boards waiting for Lizzy. "C'mon Lizzy. Don't pull out on me." He said anxiously. He'd planned it all out in his head. While they were surfing togheter he would ask her out. At least that was the plan. But all his plans failed so what's the point? He mentally asked himself.

Lizzy grinned as she rushed to the beach. Spotting Alex she hurried over, "Hey sorry I'm a little late. I got lost." Grinning sheepishly Lizzy scratched the back of her head and looked at Alex. She started bouncing in place ready to learn. "Lets start!" She cheered.

"A little inthusiastic aren't we?" He said smiling. "Ok so first pick a board and lay it on the sand." He said holding out the two boards.

Lizzy grinned, "OF course I'm excited I've always wanted to learn how to surf," she said and grabbed one of the boards and laid the board on the sand. "All right! Now what?"

"Ok. So this will be very important when your out on the sea. So get onto the board like this." He said laying down his board and demonstrating. "So you lay on your belly and paddle with your arms like this." He said demonstrating. "Now you have a go." He said sitting up and looking at her.

Lizzy smiled and laid on the board. She then tried to paddle her arms like Alex showed her.

"Nice. Now when you see a wave. You turn around and carefully stand up. Like this." He said demonstrating as he stood up. "Now if you want to be balanced put your arms out to the sides like this." He said sticking his arms out. "Ok. So once weve done that a couple of times we can hit the sea." Alex said smiling.

Lizzy smiled and attempted to stand. She ended up loosing her balance and fell towards Alex. "Oooh!" She tried to catch her self by flailing her arms.

"Don't worry I got ya." He said grabbing her under the arms and lifting her up. "You ok?" He asked.

Lizzy looked up at Alex and blushed lightly. "Yes I'm alright. I'm just a clutz." She looked down in embarrassment, because she wasn't used to falling on people.

"So let's practice a bit more on the sand. Then hit the waves." He said winking as he tried to hide his blush.

Lizzy blushed more and nodded. She then moved back to her board and tried again. Laying down on the board she paddled and then tried to stand up without falling over. She moved her arms out and bit her lip concentrating. "I think I got it," she called out grinning. "Nope don't got it" she said as she fell over and hit the sand.

Pouting she looked at the board the began to think, "Why can't I even stand up? Its ridiculous!" She looked at Alex and blushed, realizing someone was there to witness her talking to herself.

"Don't worry you'll get it right." He said smiling. "But I'm busting to hit the waves so let's go." Alex said picking up his board and walking into the water. "And we won't practice standing up yet." He said winking.

Lizzy giggled and stood up and grabbed her board, "Thanks." Blushing again she moved over towards Alex and waited, looking down to hide a grin.

"C'mon." He said putting the board on the water and lying down as he started to paddle.

Lizzy was a little nervous, but she followed along and started to paddle alongside Alex. "All right. Now what?"

"Wait for a wave. Turn around and just let it carry you." He said turning to face Lizzy.

Lizzy smiled nervously and carefully moved to sit on the board. Looking at Alex she blushed and waited, "So... How are you?"

Alex smiled. "I'll certainly be better soon." Alex winked. "What about you?" He asked.

Lizzy smiled, "I'm awesome! Learning to surf is fun, but painful at times." Looking at her leg and hoping a bruise wouldn't form.

"So I was wondering....." There his plan went. Out the door like most of them. "If you wanted to like....you know...." He started.

Lizzy looked over at Alex and smiles. "Are you asking me out?" She giggled behind her hand at his lost look. He seemed like he was thinking about something and then lost it.

"Kind of." He said sheepishly. Usually he would of just done it. But Lizzy made him feel....different somehow.

Lizzy smiled, "Well if you can ask me then yes I'll go out with you." She teased him, smiling.

He grinned. "Will you go out with me Lizzy?" He asked smiling.
