Aurora fumbled with the class authorized camera, cursing herself a million times for not doing more research on the gadget. Not that she needed to do any, if she did, she would know more about it than the people who created it. It was just her excuse. What she really needed to do, was come up with a good idea for the script of the short film they were supposed to turn in as a project for her 'Direction Classes'. The problem was that it counted as 25% of the grade and Aurora didn't like sitting around doing nothing but brainstorming ideas. She figured it would give the same result if she combined trying to make a film and her exercising routine. So far, it wasn't really working but she was still not convinced enough to give up.

Kat was lost...again not like she really truely minded, she stopped and noticed Aurora...dealing with a camera. Kat lightly nodded to herself becoming more shocked everytime she learned something new about said girl. Kat tilited her head to the side and then the other and had ceriousity tugging at her mind as she started to bounce in place trying to desiced if she should go see if Aurora needed help or just leave. "Hello Aurora." Kat greeting as she lost the internal conflict.

"Hey Kat!" Aurora replied, still distracted by the workings of the camera. Not that it resembled much the video camera it was supposed to be. Instead, due to the massive dismantling that Aurora had done, it was like some kind of a half gutted, unrecognizable gadget. Not that Aurora minded, she liked rebuilding stuff, except, she was having a little difficultly in this case. It was most probably due to the fact that she was jogging as well as trying to fix it.

"Umm how are you doing?" Kat asked not really knowing how to go about this as she watched Aurora fumble with a camera that looked to be a little less then a decade old. "If you do not mind my asking. What is with the camera?" She asked as she started to jog along side her, not understanding what was going through the scientists mind. Ever since their first meeting Kat had always seen Aurora as a scientis that like to preform for others, and Kat respeced that.

"Trying to fix my camera in time for em to write the script and then cast and then direct and then edit the short film I am supposed to turn in in two weeks.to add the pressure, it constitutes as 25% of my grade and I haven't even started on the script!" Aurora explained, her a voice a little high pitched due to the panic seeping in her emotions. "But uh..." She continued, clearing her throat to try and make her voice more normal. "I am sure I can do it. I hope."

"Aurora, would you like help with that camera. As I am sure you know, it is an older camera but still younger than a decade and with this type of camera to get it working is something of a project all of its own." Kat offered hearing the Auroras pitch change, she could tell that she was stressed and really wanted to help, even if she could not do that much. But some to take the stress off of her friend.

"Yeah, alright. I guess, I need some help." Aurora replied, stopping her jogging abruptly and beginnign to untangle the wires in the gutted out camera. Carefully, she laid out all the part of the camera in front of her, n the grass and then took a seat, looking up at Kat.

Kat sat down in the grass and looked at the camera infront of her, she always came prepared and pulled out gloves made for dealing with the insides of a camera, not that she really needed them it was just a habbit of hers. Kat set to work attaching and dettaching wires from their respected places. "That goes here, and this goes there. These get connected and this one attaches to these over there. This wire goes with the this one and these two go to this group...." Kat went on talking to herself as she was close to finishing the disabled camera, she had delt with cameras like this one before, in her spare time she took apart any and all cameras she could get her hands on and then put them together again as how they were or even better. And because this was a friend she would make the camera better.

Aurora smiled at Kat an then began assembling the lenses back together. On an ideal day, she would never ask for help from anyone, especially, if it was concerned with technology but now she was pressed for time. And swallowing her pride was the only way to not fail. Like Kat, she too murmured instructions to herself as she set and snapped the lenses back in place, taking special care to ensure hat they are neither scratched nor cracked. "So you do this a lot?"

"Yes, when I have to much time to spare or when I am in a bad mood I go to my cameras and take them all apart. Of course making sure that they are all devloped and have no new film in them." Kat lightly laughed at the remembrance of something. "Back in Hungary when I was 10 I found this 19th centry antique wooden box camera and the shope keeper let me take it apart and put it back together. But I see that you do this offten to...no. I mean the work you have done so far is very good and maybe if you had a clear head and more time you would have already finished this.......ooops sorry." Kat said not stopping herself from rammbling on and on like the idiot that she was, up fall she was a good talker.....down fall her honesty.

"Yeah, I...I like doing stuff like that. Seeing how stuff works. Taking it apart. it can be anything, a fridge, a TV, a computer, an Ipad. I am not choosy. Everybody in my family thinks I am sort of.......mad scientist-y." Aurora replied, shrugging lightly. "You know, you can rant all you want. I don't speak much, so I guess I am a good listener.

Kat gave a light laugh. "There is nothing wrong with wanting to know who things work inside and out. It just depends on the person who is taking things apart and putting them together again, I see it as everyone has a apart in this world as either a preson who just likes to tinker with things and nothing more, and then those who like to take things apart and put them back together again. But there are also those in the world who are in between who like to make new things out of those that have been taking apart by the tinkers." Kat said as she checked over the inside of the camera to make sure she had gotten everything in their place. Once she was satisfied with how the inside looked she handed it over to Aurora. "All done." She announced with a smile.

"Yeah all those people are called mad scientists." Aurora quipped, snapping the last of the lens back in place and accepting the gutted camera. As was usual with her, she began resetting the wires so that she was satisfied with them. Realizing suddenly that Kat may find it offensive, she smiled gratefully at the girl in question and fixed the lens back so that the camera looked complete again. "Thanks. Now I just need to come up with a killer script, cast a few people, choose locations, direct, edit and then recheck."

Kat lightly nodded and then noticed Aurora resetting the wires. "It is alright if you wish to reset the camera how you want. I am just...how you say.....the fixer upper. Umm if you would like I could help you with everything behind the camera...that is if you want." Kat offered slightly timidly at hearing all the things she had to do.
