Alex had just got back from swimming on the beach and even though he had dried himself he was still dripping all over the floor. Alex headed up to order at the counter after snatching a glance at the menu.
" Hi," he said politely to the man serving him,"Can I get a Coffee and a lettuce and tomato sandwhich?" Alex asked.
"Excuse me but we can't serve you until your completely dry." The man replied.
"What is this some......." Alex said struggling for words. "Well up yours, mate." Alex finally said his Australian heritage kicking in. He walked outside and remebered his bag was still in the Starbucks. As he went in to get it he found it wasn't in the place he'd left it.
"What the hell?" He asked himself furiously. Seeing a bag that looked like his out of the corner of his eye......

"Looking for this?" Aurora asked politely, holding out the guy's bag and his order. She was, in contrast, completely dry and therefore could order. She had been behind the boy, and having recognized him from Stellar Academy, plus feeling bad for him when his order was refused, she had ordered for him instead. Sadly, her brilliant plan had sort of backfired when he left the premises before she could muster up the courage to talk to him.

Seeing his bag, she picked it up from the floor with the intention of returning it to him when she reached Stellar, but at that moment he had returned, which resulted in Aurora looking very awkward as she tried to balance her coffee and doughnuts and his sandwiches and coffee, not to mention the bag.

"Yea thanks." Alex said going over to the girl as he took his bag and the order. "I'm Alex by the way." He said unable to hold out a hand due to everything he was holding. "You need anything? I really owe you one." He asked the girl.

"A little help?" Aurora suggested, before rolling her eyes and collapsing onto one of the tables, placing all the food carefully on the table and the bags underneath it. "Aurora." She muttered softly, ripping open a sugar sachet and pouring it into her coffee. "You don't, well, not really."

"I kinda do." He said nervously thinking about the illegal drugs he had bought off some dude.

Aurora shrugged in reply, waving a dismissive hand even as her other one fidgeted with the stirring of the drink. Taking a sip of her coffee she looked up expectantly at Alex, "Um.....aren't you going to eat it? Or did I just waste my money?"

"Right the money." He said breaking out his wallet and giving her $20. "Here." He said taking a bite or his sandwhich.

"My treat." Aurora muttered back, shaking her head defiantly and taking a bite of her doughnut. "You were at the beach?"

"Yes I was." Alex said slipping the money back into his wallet. He would repay her. Somehow.

"What were you doing that made you get drenched so badly?" Aurora asked incredulously, taking a sip of her coffee. Curiosity got the better of her shy nature and she had unintentionally let the question slip. "Uh....no offense, I mean of course....you can do what you want to.... was just curious.....and I should probably stop talking now."

"Relax."He said smiling. "And I was surfing." He said taking out his board wax. He forgot to zip up his bag again leaving the drug's in plain view.

"Oh." Aurora muttered, shaking her head at sounding so stupid. Great now he must think I am some kind of an overeager pile on who can't even figure out the obvious, she thought as she shook her hair self-consciously, unknowingly forming a curtain to shield her face.

"What's that?" She asked, confusion, disbelief and curiosity mixing in her voice as she pointed towards the packets of suspicious looking powder in Alex's bag.

"Nothing." He said snapping away his bag not noticing a bag falling out. "I think I see my friend outside. I have to go. Nice meeting you." He said quickly before leaving. If she had seen any of that Cocaine I would have been roasted. He thought to himself.

"Hey..!" Aurora called out after him, clearly confused by this turn of event. "....you dropped something." She finished in a soft voice, bending down to pick up the fallen packet. Frowning she held it up to the light and gingerly opened it up a bit. "Benzoylmethylecgonine." She muttered to herself, shaking her head.

Her coffee and doughnut forgotten, she quickly hitched up her bag and followed Alex outside, wordlessly stuffing the packet in his hands, her disappointment showing clearly in her eyes. "Why?"

"I'm going to the nightclub tonight. I'm underage so I'm bribing someone to get me in with this Cocaine." He admitted staring down at his shoes. "It's gonna be so fricking awesome. Wanna come?" He asked hoping she'd say yes.

"Nightclub?" Aurora mused, ready to refuse when she suddenly thought about Ariadne. Besides, going somewhere she had never gone before was only going to broaden her horizons. caving in, she nodded, holding up her hand before Alex could say anything, "But, I wouldn't drink and you wouldn't pressurize me to do so. And no drugs."

"I don't actually take drug's." He said. "And I won't force anything on you." He said smiling happily.

"Could have fooled anyone who saw those packets. I mean, what were you thinking, if you were at all which I doubt." Aurora scolded earnestly as she hitched her slipping bag higher upon her shoulder and went back into retrieve her coffee and doughnut. "Cool. So which nightclub, what time?"

"Twilight Night Club. 9pm. I can come pick you up and we can go toghether if you want?" He asked. Stuffing the packet back in his bag.

"I dunno, that will make it seem like too much of a date." Aurora mused, shaking her head lightly so her curls bounced. "What will be the dress code kind of thing?" She asked after an awkward cough, genuinely curious on this point, having never actually been to a nightclub before.

"Yea I guess. But put on anything you want." He said scratching his head.

"I guess." Aurora replied, shrugging and fidgeting with her hands as she started doing a painful mental review of her entire wardrobe. She didn't want to look too slutty, but she feared that if she looked too safe then she would stand out too much. "Uh....so will this be your first visit?"

"Not really." He said awkwardly. Pretending to tie his shoes.

"So I can count on you to keep me out of trouble, or will it be the other way round?" Aurora asked, attempting a joke to lighten up the suddenly very awkward atmosphere. "It will be my first time." She clarified, fidgeting with the straps of her bag as she finished up her doughnut and threw the empty cup and carton in the trash.

"I'll keep you safe. And you keep me from passing out." He laughed. "Fair deal?" He said grinning.
