"Basketball is awesome!" Alex said excitedly.

Skye laughed and nodded, "It is, when you can actually shoot the ball and get it into the basket."

"I remeber popping in a three pointer once." He nodded.

Skye smiled, "Well if I ever need basketball coaching I know who to ask then don't I?" she smiled, "I can dribble the ball but I can't shoot."

"Your kidding? You look like a born shooter to me." Alex grinned.

Skye laughed and pretended to flip her hair, "Well somethings just come naturally to me," she grinned back, "But in all honesty I suck royally at basketball, so whatever you do, don't pick me on your team."

"I can tell." Alex winked.

Skye grinned, "Well your a sports fanatic, so I take it your an athlete then, what's your sport?"

Ben couldn't believe what was going on, but he just watched and listened to what he could. "That's it, all this sports talk is to much for me, but yall have fun and don't mind me. I'll just be leavin'." He said as he stood up and walked to the exit. "See ya' 'round Skye 'nd see ya' later Alex." And with that he left.

Alex pouted as Ben left. Alex had probably driven him off, which was a shame. "Soccer." Alex muttered.

Skye bit her lip guiltily, "I'm sorry...I didn't intend for Ben to leave..I really am sorry." she said shifting from foot to foot

"It's me." Alex admitted.

Skye frowned slightly, "I'm sure he wouldn't leave because of you, you didn't do anything wrong," she smiled

"But I can be annoying when I want to." Alex laughed.

Skye laughed, "You annoying? Never," she grinned with a hint of sarcasm, "So what brings you to the auditorium, I thought the track was more of a 'jock' thing," she smiled

"I was going to have a snack." He said. This was true except the snack was cocaine he'd gotten from some dude.

Skye looked around the room, "But there's nobody else here...at least I don't think there is," she squinted a little looking around the room

"So?" Alex said puzzled.

"It just seems like a pretty odd place to have a snack I guess." Skye said grabbing her bag, she smiled slightly

"Yea." Alex said in total agrrement.

Skye looked at him sadly, "Are you high?"

"No." Alex said. Of course this was a lie.

Skye looked at him doubtfully, "Would you tell me if you were?"

Alex looked into Skye's eyes and couldn't not tell her. "I've been taking cocaine." He muttered quickly.

Skye nodded slowly unable to keep the disappointment off her face, "Why?" she asked quietly
