(what's wrong with her? O_O)

Reed heard the slamming door and knew she went inside one of the cubicles. He sighed when he didn't see any blood or crashed things. At least she's really okay despite her maybe swollen bump on her forehead. "Ivy.. why are you keep running away from me?"

(You might not notice, but she's insecure. And Reed's making it worse. lol.)

"I don't know. I guess you could say I don't want to be caught." Ivy called out. She staunched the blood on her forehead, grimacing at the small stinging she was feeling. She took some tissue and leaned against the door, dabbing her cut. "Why are you running after me in the first place?"

"Caught? What the bloody hell are you talking about?" Reed gritted his teeth and ran his hand through his gold hair. He was really worried something happened to her.

"W-.. because you ran away from me." he muttered and stared at the door, "get out from there Ivy...no one here other than me." he said the last sentence with a pointed look at the people behind him.

"Oh yeah? Then..." *Ivy ducked down and counted the number of feet that was visible from her point of view and she grimaced. "then why the hell are there two guys behind you?"

She took a hoodie from her back pack and pulled it on in a hurry. She pulled the hood up, making sure that half of her face was covered.

Reed made them left the C.R and slammed the door close in front of their face. He didn't care if they think he's rude or that he's alone with a girl in the closed C.R. They can make more gossips and Reed would gain popularity from that.

"They're gone, can you come out now so I can see how badly your bump?"

"It's not that bad." Ivy muttered before she opened the door. The hoodie was over her head and she kept her face down. She tried to slip past him to the door, pulling down the fabric.

Reed didn't let her passed him and he saw the blood on her forehead when the her hood slipped down. "Ivy." he gasped as he tugged her arm and made her stood in front of him then he dragged her towards the infirmary.

"Oh, damn it, Reed!" Ivy felt sure the moment she felt his hand clasp her arms that he was going to put up a fight if she tried to get away. But that didn't mean she was submitting quietly. He had to half-drag, half-haul her through the hallways and she even considered biting his hand.

"Will you stop struggling?! I'll carry you there like a nice princess if you can't behave. And don't tell me that wound is nothing. You're coming with me no matter what." Reed gritted his teeth when he glanced at the wound on her forehead, worried that she'll faint from lack of blood. Plus she's an actress, she need to put on a lot of make up to hide that wound. And Reed blamed himself because it's his fault.

When they arrived at the school infirmary, he made her lied down on the rest bed there and called the nurse who aren't surprised to see him. Reed's a frequent visitor. He often came her to just skip class and sleep.

Ivy sometimes felt like a prisoner being stuck int hat room. The nurse especially made a big fuss over it, exclaiming about "How ruined her pretty face was!" SHe was sick of it. She was sick of the designer walls around her, the comfortable bed and the annoying looks she got whenever someone walked inside the room and stared at her.

She was tempted to jump out the window when the nurse wasn't looking, but something held her back. She pretended not to know why, but it was obvious that it had something to do with Reed. And the fact that he was visiting her nonstop.

Reed notice her uneasiness and he carefully took her hand, squeezing it lightly, making her notice that he's beside her all the time she was treated by the nurse, "Here.." he offered a card name to her, "She's a perfect doctor to heal that wound in a week.. and I'm sorry." he said, whispering the words so no one could heard it other than her. And he sound so honest when he said it, his eyes were full of concern over her.

"What the hell are you supposed to be sorry for?" Ivy glanced at the card but didn't take it. She tried to ignore his hand on hers and looked away. "It's just a cut on my f-ing forehead, Cross. It's not the end of the world." She tried to sound light but she knew deep down that she was worried. Cuts like the one she got could mean complications for her career.

She looked at the card again and looked back at the window.

Reed sighed but he slipped the card on her shirt pocket, "Aren't you a girl?" he raised an eyebrow at her, "shouldn't a girl be more aware of her look? You know all the freaking out I saw on the TV when you either got just one pimple on your face, you used all the products you can get to destroy it." he teased.

"This scar will affect your career as an actress sweetie. And you'll be working on a campaign with me for Armani. You have to heal it." he said. He's actually more worried for her rather than the crap about Armani.

"I am a girl, but I'm not like all the other girls." Ivy muttered even as Reed slipped the card to her shirt. "I don't care about how I look." She said though she knew that deep down, she was afraid that that little cut could mean the end for her. He looked over at Reed and smirked.

"And Armani is all that matters to you. Typical Cross behavior."

Reed kept his mask intact as he gave her a bored look and shrugged, "It's our work. We have to be professional Ivy, no matter if you don't give a damn." he stood up and stretched his arms, making his shirt ride up a little to show fair of his toned skin. He suddenly felt tired and he walked to the window to see the sun just set down over the horizon.

"I'll escort you there if it necessary."

"I'm not a kid, okay?" Ivy said in an irritated tone. She noticed that he wasn't facing her anymore and she jumped out of bed, glad that the nurse left the room to give both of them some space. She picked up her converses from the ground and started walking out the door...

Reed turned in time to see got down the bed and he had to stop himself for grabbing her hand and made her stay for even longer.

"Where are you going?" he asked her, scolding himself mentally because he sounded like he's her parent or something.

"Er, to the bathroom?" Ivy lied smoothly. She would have gotten away with it except her hand was holding the handle of the door that lead outside. She noticed that one second too late though and groaned.

"You're a bad liar Rodriguez." Reed shook his head as he walked over to her and placed his hand on top of hers. He ignored the feeling he got whenever he touch her and opened the door for her.

"Where do you live?"

"Live?" Ivy was confused for a while because she was concentrating on their hands before she scoffed. "Oh, right. You don't own a dorm." She almost said toh herself before she addressed him. "Unlike you Reed, the rest of us can't afford to live in a five star hotel."

Reed ignored the last comment, just giving her a half smile, "I work hard." he pushed the door wider, waiting for her to walk first and decided to give her a ride to her dorm.

Ivy pulled her shin up and walked past him. She tried to make sure he was looking the other way before she made a run for it. "See you around, Cross!" She shouted over her shoulder, smirking as she ran barefooted across the hallway.

Reed sighed and couldn't believe he let her run away again.. or he shouldn't? He frowned when he thought about the possibility of her having concussion after the impact. He darted for her and called out her name while ignoring the odd look he got from people.

Ivory looked back, cussed and tried to run faster and winced at the pounding on her head. She's been asleep most of the day and the sudden movements were not helping her one bit. She ended up running over a multitude of people and she hit one particularly big guy before the force rebounded her back and tripping.

Reed reached for her in time before she could fell and held her shoulder to steady her. "Sorry big guy, she has jet lag." he said to the big guy with a small polite smile then he dragged her away from the busy flow of people.
