"Bye Alex. Thanks for the flowers." Aurora replied sadly, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Bye." She repeated once more with a small smile and then walked out, her arms filled with roses.

As soon as Alex walked out. He instantly regretted everything he'd done. He quickly ran past a random kid. Hoping to find somewhere he could be alone. He found a corner in the street away from other people. He started crying. "Why are you so f-cking stupid?" He asked himself smashing his head on a wall. "Indigo...." He cried. "I miss you." He'd had to break up with her when she moved to China and himself to America. He slipped down the wall to sit on the ground. Hoping someone anyone. Could fill the empty space he held inside of himself.

Aurora was trying to hail a cab when Alex ran past her. It was obvious that she follower him, her conscious pinching her when he started crying. "Alex!" She cried out in horror and concern when he smashed his head on the wall. "Stop that!" She snapped, pulling him away and turning him so he was facing him.

Alex snapped his head around when he heard Aurora's voice. He ran further down the street. Not wanting anyone to know about this.

"Alex stop! You will get lost!" Aurora called out after him, carefully making her way through the upturned cans of trash and stray cats that eyed her part furiously and part in fear.

Alex stopped behind a car where he threw up. I guess he really had had to much to drink.

"Alex! Are you alright?" Aurora asked, clearly concerned when she stopped next to the car, putting all her weight on it as she panted. "Don't. Do. That. Ever. Again." She muttered in a mock threatening voice when some of her breath returned.

"Why do you care it's none of your business what I do. You have a boyfriend go stalk him." He said angrily.

"He's not my boyfriend! And why can't we be friends?" Aurora snapped at him, feeling her patience pummel down to a new all time low. "And I don't stalk anybody." She added softly, in a hurt voice as she leaned on the car.

"We can be friends. But sometimes I just want to be left alone. And so what happened to I'm already going on a date then?" Alex said calming a bit.

"That's tomorrow." Aurora explained, shrugging as she looked up at the stars. She always loved seeing the stars, the solitary pin points lighting up the dark, seemingly endless void ofspace always made her feel insignificant, but for once, in a good way.

"Never said it did, I am just correcting your timeline." Aurora explained in a similar emotionless tone, not looking down from the sky.

"Yes, yes they are." Aurora answered in a serious tone, turning to study Alex. Details formed a big part of Aurora's life, like they did in any over-analyzer's life. She could build whole meanings out of little, seemingly pointless things and that made her prone to miss out the big picture, focusing instead on the tiny cracks in it.

"About what? I am sure you don't want to listen to me rant about my screwed up relationships!" Aurora commented jokingly, trying hard to lighten up the mood. It was the truth too, she wasn't sure what they were talking about anymore.

"I will show you a trick then!" Aurora remarked, brightening up at the sound of Alex's laughter. "Here." She said, handing him the roses while she fumbled in her pockets searching for a piece of cloth.
