Kat loved being out doors, so she was happy when the weekend came around. And fit was a nice day and she had her camera with her so she was in a really super good mood. Kat took pictures if a family of birds that were resting, and then theme saw a few squirrels go by. She ws so into what she was doing that she didn't even notice someone was with her in the courtyard.

Lucas smiled at her and went to her. "Hey Kitty Kat!"

Kat gave a light smiled and turned around with her camera and snaped off a picture of Lulu. "Hi there, how are you?" She asked as she gave him a hug.

Lucas blinked and rubbed his eyes. He smiled and kissed her cheek, "I am good. you?"

Laughing followed suite and kissed his cheek back. "I'm.....happy." Kat said not know how else to put her feeling as she looked around her and at the courtyard that held so many things saying 'take a picture of me.' Kat took in a deep breath and then started to bounce in place.

Lucas raised an eyebrow and looked at her, "You alright Kitty Kat?"

Kat looked ar Lucas and then stopped bouncing. "Yes, I am alright. I just love being out door, that is anyone can find me outside if I can get out.....or that is the first place anyone who is looking for me will come to." Kat explane as she had a huge smile on her face.

Lucas nodded and pecked her lips. "Oh okay babe.." he looked around. "So do you want to take photos?"

Kat lightly blushed and smlied. "Yes I am. I always am, it is a bad habit...well my mother always said it was, and still is." She said with a sad face but quickly bounced back as she heard a blue jay call out. Turning around she took a picture of said bird that was on a branch not far from a near by tree off to her right, Kat gave a warm smile at the new picture that will be added to her collection.....collections.

Lucas smiled and looked at her.

"So..." Kat started as she changed her camera from camera mood to recording mood and aimed it at Lucas. "What are you doing here?" She asked trying to be serious and failing at it.

Lucas smiled at her. "I wanted some fresh air" He tilted his head to the side.

"Ah, really. Well Lulu if that is the only reason then....." Kat trailed off becoming disracted by the sound of small animals becoming busy. She shook her head to herself and smiled as she watched the birds and squirrels. "Lulu do you like the out doors?" Kat randomly asked turning back to face him.

Lucas sat on the grass and nodded. "Yes i do Kitty Kat"

Laughing Kat sat down with her back against the tree. "Is that why you like playing soccer?" She asked bringing her knees to her chest and resting her chin on them, Kat was wearing a pair of baby blue jeans that looked like they had been dipped in white paint on the bottom, and had her black v-cut tank top on with her baby blue jean jacket.

Lucas smiled. "Well thats part of why I like soccer.."

"Uhhuh...." Kat slowly nodded her head. "What is the whole point of soccer? Or do you just like to run from one end to the other end?" She asked never really fully understanding the goal of any sport game.

"I play soccer cause I wanna be like my father.. He used to be a pro player.." Lucas said softly.

Kat leaned her head to the side and just looked at him."Have I.....how you say.....crossed the line?" She asked as she studied the expression on Lulus face. She knew how hard it was to talk about parents even if a child comes from a really good house hold, it is hard on them.

Lucas shook his head and smiled a little at her, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. "No you didn't babe..."

Kat cralwed over to him and sat on her knees and huged Lucas, she had a feeling that she had even though he said otherwise. "Lucas, if at all you would like to talk to me about anything personal at all. Please do, and do not hold back unless you feel the need to for youself." She said in a kind and warming tone, holding him as though a mother would her own.

Lucas hugged him close to him and bit his lip. "Thank you.."

Kat lightly nodded and understood some of what he was going through, or might be going through as her dad showed her that lession. Is it raining? She asked herself feeling something wet hit her shoulder and she never put two and two together and didn't pay much attention to it. "Lulu......can I tell you something that no one else knows?" She asked with some hesitation and timidness lining her voice a she spoke. Kat still held on to him from fear that she would not beable to say what she wanted, and it would have not felt right to her if she did.

Lucas stroked her hair with a shaky hand and nodded. "Go ahead Kitty Kat... I'm listening..."

"When I was fifteen my father disowned me for not being the child he wanted me to be, for not wanting to play an instument. When I hear that you want to play soccer for your father it makes me feel something inside....I belive it is called jealousy in a good way....if there is any such thing. He must be very proud to have a son like you, to be able to tell his friends about you. That is something I could never give my father....and I over heard him and my mother talking and he had told her that he did not want me." Kat confessed as she started to shake to keep from crying, because her father had showed her that it was bad for her to cry or show any sort of weakness to others.
